Helping our customers succeed. Here’s what they say:
We have used a Mantis microscope in our Dental Laboratory for over a decade now. It is ergonomic, reliable and well-suited to enhancing the accuracy and quality of our Crown & Bridge work. We currently have three Mantis in our laboratory and we consider this to be essential equipment. We could never go back to using just loupes for fine detail work and quality checking. Excellent, well-engineered equipment!
I feel very satisfied with the Vision Hawk. It’s a very reliable equipment and helps us make decisions based on measurements.
As a result of its generation of high-resolution 3D images, the use of our DRV-Z1 is now helping to ensure the quality of our PCBs and assisting us in reducing our already low rework and scrap levels.
Hawk is the ideal piece of metrology equipment for us. It is easy to use and flexible enough to gauge nearly all of our components. The reporting capability allows me to capture a data file for every component we measure, which is vital for component traceability.
With each technician checking the work at each stage of the process we have both a high quality product in technology terms and a high quality product in aesthetic terms. The use of Mantis is an enabling technology and keeps all of my technicians happy. They know the difference between good and poor quality and using Mantis they can see the difference.
We have found that using the Hawk provides us with an optical image which allows us to easily find the edges of any imperfection enabling our operators and engineers to be precise in their measurements in all axes.
We wanted to find a measuring solution that would work for our entire range of production, from complex connectors through to stainless steel and plastic medical devices. Hawk offered us this flexibility and gave us confidence in the accuracy and repeatability of our processes.
Mantis allows our inspectors to maximise the use of their hands when turning and rotating the component. With other magnification systems, we have found we have to spend needless time aligning the binocular head to see the product clearly. However, with Mantis and its viewing head, we can see the component instantaneously.
Now we have an accurate way of measuring the face plates, we are able to check the supplies match the drawings. Without it we would just have to accept that the suppliers have manufactured the substrates within the tolerance given to them.
The ease of using Mantis has certainly improved our working conditions and helped us provide our patients with a more efficient service.
For many years we used a profile projector to assess the measurement of our components but we felt the need for a more precise measurement instrument, with a much wider and more modern capability. It seemed to us that the solution offered by Vision’s Hawk System could satisfy all of our requirements. The Hawk offered good benefits to not only the development in the initial stages but also to the pre-production stage as well.
Inspecting toner cartridges can be time consuming and difficult to coordinate when you are viewing components at different angles. After investigating different solutions we have invested in the Mantis because it optimises hand to eye coordination providing both precision and pace to our production line. We have since invested in several Mantis
As we pride ourselves on providing a fast turnaround time for our customers, we need to rely on our inspection equipment to be accurate and easy to use. Furthermore, the inspection systems from Vision Engineering provide the team with ergonomic benefits with the ‘eyepiece-less’ technology, improving productivity.
Without a doubt, Mantis has met with my expectations and has delivered an outstanding alternative to conventional magnification.
The ergonomic advantages of the Mantis stereo viewer are unparalleled with any conventional microscope. I have been highly recommending it to other antique and art restorers in the field and will continue to do so.
The Lynx EVO is literally used 24/7 for a wide range of measurement and inspection tasks… optimising our time and the turnaround time of a run
Since we have invested in the Lynx we have found that it has paid for itself many times over..
We invested in the Mantis after our customer recommended the stereo microscope for specifically inspecting the firing pins. As the component parts are quite small, we were struggling to inspect the components by using our eyes alone due to their size and surface finish. Now we have the Mantis, we are minimising waste where we are able to clearly inspect the firing pins for a smooth surface finish.
The oblique 360° viewer gives you that extra dimension and there is no other way we can do it. We get so much use out of the Lynx for our applications. It is invaluable and an absolute godsend
Now we have an accurate way of measuring the face plates, we are able to check the supplies match the drawings. Without it we would just have to accept that the suppliers have manufactured the substrates within the tolerance given to them.
